EarthWell Festival moves to Jordanelle State Park.
EarthWell, LLC inks deal with Jordanelle State Park to relocate the EarthWell Festival to the grassy shores of Jordanelle Reservoir. EarthWell Director Chris Bachman is enthusiastic about the move saying "The location fits beautifully with the EarthWell theme and the layout allows for the festival to grow into its full potential." Segway of Utah signs up to join the fun at the 2012 EarthWell festival. Segway will be providing free demo rides and instruction to the attendees throughout the weekend.
Initial sign ups for the 2012 festival are on track says Chris Bachman, Festival Director. The early sign ups are due to returning shopkeepers being allowed first choice of the shops at the new festival. Shop reservations open to the public on April 1st.
Talks are underway between EarthWell and various organizations to bring a new level of fun activities to the 2012 event. Activities under consideration include: sailing introductions, paddle boarding demonstrations and lessons, kite flying competitions, beach parties including volleyball tournaments and more. Festival Director, Chris Bachman says it is too early to tell what the final list of activities will be but he does promise that whatever they ultimately are, this year's festival will "blow the socks off of earlier EarthWell Festivals".
EarthWell announced that it is launching the ShapeUp ShowDown™ Wellness Competition. The event is comprised of multiple teams of people who want to improve their health and wellness and compete over an eight week period to do so. The teams are headed up by wellness professionals who essentially donate their expertise for the event thereby saving the contestants thousands of dollars in training fees. Culiminating at the EarthWell Festival on August 25 the teams will be competing for a variety of cash and prizes as well as the notoriety of being the best wellness program.

Reknowned musician Rich Wyman joins EarthWell to heaqd up team handling music lineup. Rich is also coordinating with Director Chirs Bachman to create Sound Off, a Young Singer Songwriter Competition where a dozen or so select young musicians compete for cash and prizes.
Paddle Boarding comes to EarthWell Festival. Utah Stand Up Paddle Boarding will be conducting a weekend full of clinics, intro to paddle boarding demos and family friendly contests such as Paddle with your Pooch, Media Paddle Board Contest, Paddle Board Yoga and more.
Green Rides Dr., the festival's area for alternative energy vehicles, gains traction with the addition of a Toyota Prius, Nissan Leaf, electric Fisker and a selection of CNG and electric conversion vehicles.
